It is a beautiful Sunday morning! Good morning sunshines!
Despite the fact that i am down with a terrible flu and cramps all over, i am excitedly waiting for the few hours later with Fiq. because yesterday i had the whole day of rest. again, i manage to finish up another of nora robert's novel together with mountains of tissues by my side and all wrapped up with blanket. funny, i kinda enjoy the silence around.
Anyway i had my first real lesson on friday and i am so proud of my students as much as i am proud of myself! Imagine toddlers, a few months old not yet reaching the age of 2 doing activities that require concentration. look down! they actually poured water without any spillage!
the two favourites in the school. recently they could pronounce my name and just imagine my happiness!(:
Right then, i knew i was right in my choice. it isn't an easy task to sit them down. much less get them listening and doing lessons for a good hour. it is a whole new different experience from my playgroup class. there, everyone would sit in a circle when i mention "sit". when i first took these toddlers, i wanted to cry and that was when i wanted to give up and resign like i blogged about.
the senior teachers saw my progress. i was given the nod and surprised look when i could now get the whole class to queue up or sit down and engage in singing without fidgeting and running away.
i did it. With time and patience. you see, this job taught me a lot about caring and definitely tone me down from being an impatient person. i am happy. i'm glad i chose this line and not waste yet another year of my life or even move on to the harshness of corporate world.
let's just hope i still do look forward to work still, every single day. Alright! Enjoy the last of weekend! Back to the twilight series!
